Using Folders/Collection with Students
(From Sue, can be found in Google Docs)
Sharing - Please use the falmouthschools.org addresses to share documents or calendars.
  • You can have your students create a folder named in the following format:
    • z Smith, John Social Studies A block (the “z” will put all student collections at the end of your “Collections Shared with Me” list.
    • They can share the collection with you.
    • All their social studies work should go in that collection.
    • When you access that folder, you can view the work.
    • Searching by student name will be the fastest way of finding a student folder.

Every time the student adds a document to that folder that is shared with you, you will have it.
Remember Carrie B's idea of having students use za, zb, zc....... where the letter after the z is the block number so they will be organized into blocks!

Video for Students - setting up Google Account - ONLY HAS TO BE DONE THE FIRST TIME THEY LOG IN IF THEY DO NOT ALREADY HAVE AN ACCOUNT.
